| TAGAYTAY, CAVITE: A Picturesque View
Cavite's highest elevation which is a natural
promontory overlooking Taal. It is home
to several convents, seminaries, retreat
and seminar houses. It is located on the
huge rim of the world's largest volcano.
When Taal exploded, the crater-lake formed
another crater which we now call as Volcano
Island.
Taal Volcano in Tagaytay, Cavite is known
to be the World's smallest active volcano.
It is surrounded with lush greenery hills
and cool, breezy weather. Another attraction
here is the palace in the sky where one
can have a breathtaking view of the nearby
low land provinces of Laguna, Cavite and
Batangas. This place was built for U.S.
President Ronald Reagan during the Marcos
regime.
